the financial freak out

A nice photo to bring up the mood before I bring the mood down.

So I keep applying for jobs and sending out my resume and I went on another interview and now I am waiting for any kind of news.

My current boss may have something to offer me, but doesn't know what that will be. It keeps changing. And getting nastier. The situation just isn't good, but I'm not a girl to leave a job unless I have another one.

My dear, sweet, supportive husband, who has been fantastic about this whole thing, finally had a financial panic attack about the fact that my salary ends in about two weeks. And my health insurance will end August 31st if I don't stay at my current job or find a new one. Let me also just tell you that this is the most fantastic health insurance ever in the whole world. It may not pay for fertility treatments, which I didn't want to do anyway, but it covered everything else.

And, well, I don't know where to go or which way is right.

I pray that the Lord will lead me down the right path and I will be put in the right job.

I'll keep you posted.

Ugh, I'm sorry your job/financial matters are so uncertain right now. Financial freak outs are the worst. God WILL provide, it's the waiting and wondering that stinks so much.
I pray that this interview you had was the one and that you'll be on to a new job asap.

Financial stress is horrible and I feel for you, Sissy.

If you ever want to learn about financial peace, visit Dave Ramsey's website. His Total Money Makeover book has changed our lives. My husband has been out of work for several months but we are not freaking out (this time!) because we learned how to budget, pay off debt and save.

God is good and has a plan for you. God Bless.

Heard my pastor say something this week that might help you find some peace... "Just when you feel as if you're taking a step backwards, remember that God is catapulting you to new heights." Praying for your financial situation, job, & insurance right now. Claiming it in Jesus' name! :)

I love what J+TMcLamb said. Great advice to live by. I know it's scary right now. We're pinching pennies and never forget how it felt when Scott lost his job as our household provider. God catapulted us to a place we never imagined we would live and had even dared to say we would NEVER live. The best part is, we've been blessed beyond measure in CA. Money is still tight but life could be much much worse. Sending you both love and prayers.
